John and I went to an excellent program offered to WETA members held at Lisner Auditorium on the GW campus.
We first had dinner at Panera's in the Marvin Center.
We then went to Lisner for the program in which Henry Gates, the host of the Finding Your Roots series on PBS, talked with special guests Joe Madison, S. Epatha Merkerson and CeCe Moore.
It was very inspiring and interesting. The audience was very enthusiastic and very excited. The atmosphere was electric. Lots of clapping and lots of laughter.
I admire Henry Gates even more after this event and plan not to miss any of his Tuesday evening programs anymore.
