GW students submitted a proposal to the Obama Inaugural Committee for a float, and it was accepted! I visited the site of the float construction on campus and took a snapshot. I can't wait to see it in the parade! The float is divided into sections, a section for each school. In the photo you can see the section designed by students in GW's law school. It consists of a podium where a "judge" will be standing in the parade. The Elliott School for International Affairs features a huge globe of the world.
This blog is the story of my life with family and friends in DC and sometimes beyond.
