I love going into the District to meet a good friend and visit a museum.
I met my friend George at the National Museum for Women in the Arts to see the exhibit Rodarte.
From the brochure: The innovative American luxury fashion house Rodarte, founded by sisters Kate and Laura Mulleavy, is known for its pioneering approach to fashion design. Rodarte, the first fashion exhibition organized by the National Museum of Women in the Arts, highlights the designers' visionary concepts, impeccable crafsmanship, and profound impact on the fashion industry.
Here are several photos from the exhibition:

After viewing the exhibition, we walked over to the Church of the Epiphany for the Tuesday concert. The exciting musicians were the Dash Duo, Mary Elizabeth Bowden and her husband David Dash. They are trumpeters and played the following program:
Concerto in D Major by Bach
Reverie by Claude Debussy
Fantasie Brilliante by Jean-Baptiste Arban
Concerto in E-flat Major, Andante by J.N.. Hummel
Awakenings, I. Allegro moderato by James Stephenson
Siete canciones populares espanolas (Seven Spanish Folksongs) by Manuel de Falla

After the concert we went next door to Au Bon Pain for lunch.
