A Royal Spoof
Katie and I went to the Shakespeare Theater to see Charles III, a spoof of the future reign of Prince Charles when he becomes King. It was quite humorous!
Before the performance, we went to Jaleo's for lunch. Katie was not at all enthusiastic about the fabulous menu!
I had three scrumptious tapas and a delicious dessert! One of my very favorite restaurants.

Miller at GW
Barbara, Joel, and I met for dinner at GW's Beefsteak before going to the theater to see "All My Sons" by Arthur Miller. We were particularly interested in this play because Miller had been very influenced by Ibsen in the writing of this play.

Literary Event at the Danish Embassy
John, Joel, Barbara, Linda, Chuck, and I met at Beefsteak at GW for dinner before going to the Danish Embassy for a special event.

Chuck amazed at the looks of his beef burger!
The event that we attended focused on Nordic Literature. There were representatives from Denmark, Iceland, Sweden, and Norway. It was well organized and very interesting. (Perhaps more details will follow if I remember to provide them!)
