GW students submitted a proposal to the Obama Inaugural Committee for a float, and it was accepted! I visited the site of the float construction on campus and took a snapshot. I can't wait to see it in the parade! The float is divided into sections, a section for each school. In the photo you can see the section designed by students in GW's law school. It consists of a podium where a "judge" will be standing in the parade. The Elliott School for International Affairs features a huge globe of the world.
During the Christmas holidays I took my two grandsons to the Kennedy Center to see two performances: Good Night, Moon and Runaway Bunny. Both performances were wonderful. We enjoyed them very much. It was the fifth time Christian had been to the Kennedy Center and it was Colin's first.
